The Ocunio Energy curated EV Installation Kit is an all-in-one trade installation bundle engineered specifically for domestic EV chargepoints that require upstream Open-PEN (Protective Earth Neutral) fault protection. Designed to save electrical contractors valuable time on site, this comprehensive pack consolidates every containment, connection, and circuit safeguarding component needed to deliver a fast, fully compliant single-phase EV charging installation from meter to wallbox.

At the core of the bundle is a dedicated EV Consumer Unit fitted with integrated PEN fault detection and a 40A Type A RCBO, providing robust overload, short-circuit, and 30mA AC/DC residual leakage protection. Built to fully satisfy BS 7671 18th Edition wiring regulations, the integrated O-PEN detection allows for direct connection to standard PME earthing systems without the costly, time-consuming need to drive ground earth rods or risk striking underground utility services.

The package includes 10 metres of coiled EV Ultra cable—combining mains power, data, and an enhanced Cat 5e FTP 4-pair screened network cable within a single double-sheathed construction for clean, interference-free hardwired internet, CT clamping, or smart meter integration. This is paired alongside a pre-cut 1 m tail pack comprising 2 × 25 mm² 6181Y double-insulated tails and 1 × 16 mm² 6491X earthing conductor, a heavy-duty single-pole terminal block set (brown, blue, and green), matching tails glands, and a 25 mm compression gland for weatherproof entry.
